London College of Beauty therapy – Rebrand and Identity Design
Creating a cohesive brand family with a refreshed identity

THE SOLUTION
The original identity posed challenges with legibility, being difficult to read at smaller sizes and it lacked a modern touch.
As Lead Creative, I guided the creative team in developing a fresh, contemporary identity for LCBT. We selected a geometric typeface for the logo to deliver a sleek, modern feel, paired with a brush-style typeface that adds personality and reflects the aspirations of the beauty students.
The new logo is much more versatile, maintaining clarity even when scaled down, a key improvement over the previous design. To ensure consistency with LCBT’s sister brand, Fashion Retail Academy, a container was incorporated around the logo, creating a cohesive brand family.
Additionally, we introduced stronger, more consistent photography guidelines and developed streamlined yet comprehensive brand guidelines. These new tools empower LCBT's internal teams to maintain a cohesive identity across all brand materials.
